Memory of the world: Solemn events to the 111st anniversary of the feat of the cruiser crew “Varyag” and the battle-boat “Korean” in the Tula region

Solemn events, dedicated to the 111st anniversary of the feat of the cruiser crew “Varyag” and the battle-boat “Korean” near Chemulpo during the Russian-Japanese war of 1904-1905 are held on February 9, 2015 in the Museum of the commander of the cruiser “Varyag” V. F. Rudnev in the Tula region.

The event program:

- Requiem for the dead sailors of the cruiser "Varyag" at Our Lady of Kazan Orthodox Cathedral;

- Meeting near the monument of the cruiser commander “Varyag” V. F. Rudnev and the laying of flowers on his grave;

- Military parade;

- Demonstration of a film fragment “Cruiser “Varyag”” (director - A. Denisov).
