To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The action “The Chronicle of Victory” started in the Sverdlovsk region

The Sverdlovsk regional film collection with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Sverdlovsk region declares the start of the action “The Chronicle of Victory”, which will be held under the motto: “I remember, I proud, I will save” and will be timed to the 70^th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The organizers aim to raise a family video archive of the Urals, to create a chronicle of folk memory of the participants and witnesses of the Great Patriotic War.

Participants of the action can be every resident of the Sverdlovsk region. To do this, it is necessary to remove the video, to talk about their relatives or friends who survived the Great Patriotic War. To fix memories of living witnesses of those events on the video or show pictures and tell the story of their ancestors, not living until today. Timing - less than 5 minute

All collected videos will be posted at the official website of the Sverdlovsk film collection http://filmofond.ru in a special category “The Chronicle of Victory” and will be freely available. In addition, all the materials will be stored in the archive of the Sverdlovsk Regional Filmofond.

The most interesting works will be demonstrated at TV channels and cinemas of Yekaterinburg and the Sverdlovsk region.  In the future the best works will be transferred to the Russian Heritage Foundation and the National project “Our Common Victory”.
