Exhibition: "Zorikto Dorzhiev. The Imaginary Reality" exposition in Moscow

The exhibition entitled "Zorikto Dorzhiev. The Imaginary Reality" opened at the Moscow State Tretyakov Gallery on January 28, 2015.

Zorikto Dorzhiev (b. 1976) works in easel painting, drawing, book illustration, sculpture, and as a cinema artist. Having perceived the basics of Russian academic school and "cosmopolitanism" of modern European art, Dorzhiev continues to follow the Buryat national traditions.

Dorzhiev’s artistic method is based on the synthesis of several components, with a principal among them is the figurative tradition of the academic school and the cultural heritage of the nomadic peoples of Buryatia.

An illustrated catalog is issued to the exhibition. In addition to the works presented at the exhibition, the publication includes the absolutely new ones.
