To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “We are faithful to the memory” in Veliky Novgorod

March 31, 2015 in the Children’s Museum Center of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve is opened the exhibition “We are faithful to the memory”. To the 70th anniversary of the Victory”. This is a joint project of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve and the Education Committee of the Administration of the Veliky Novgorod.

The exhibition features about one hundred exhibits from ten museums of military-patriotic theme of schools and high schools of Veliky Novgorod and the collections of the Novgorod Museum-Reserve. Visitors will see: front letters, military uniform, documents, medals and awards, household items of the 1940s, as well as personal belongings of the family of indigenous Novgorod residents Denisov-Kuzmin-Khodyakov. This family endured all the hardships of the war and the period of the recovery of Novgorod in the postwar years.   

The exhibition will run until May 19, 2015.
