Peoples of Russia: The exhibition “Costume – the soul of peoples” in Irkutsk

The exposition department of the Irkutsk Regional Museum “Window to Asia” on March 24, 2015 opened the exhibition “Costume – the soul of peoples”.

The collections of the Irkutsk Regional Museum store unique ethnographic collections, collected by many generations of scientists and historians, which present all peoples of Asian Russia. The exhibition features national costumes of the Buryat, the Tofa, the Mongols, the Chinese, the Japanese. The exhibition will show not only the appearance but also the national character of peoples of Asia.
