Exhibitions: Unique exposition of original graphics opened in the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts

From March 12 to April 12, 2015 in the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts is held a unique exhibition of original drawings from the museum's collection "70 of 700".

The exhibition "70 of 700" is timed to the release of the first catalog of the series "The graphics of the XVIII - early XXI centuries" and the fourth volume of the General Catalogue of the museum. This series is dedicated to the works of Russian original graphics in the collection of the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts.

In the halls of the exhibition "70 of 700" can be seen 70 unique graphic works by famous Russian artists of the 700 works of original graphics stored in the museum. Among them there are sheets, performed by famous artists of the XVIII-XIX centuries – works of miniature portraits of Alexander Sokolov, watercolor-battle-Alexander Orlovsky, seascape Felix Lagorio, works of Great Russian masters - Ilya Repin, Ivan Archaeology, Vladimir Makovsky, Pavel Fedotov, Ivan Shishkin, Lev Kamenev, Alexei Bogolyubov, famous artists Yefim Volkov, Nikolay Bogdanov-Belsky.

No less interesting is the exposition of charts of the first half of the XX century - the work of artists of the first three decades of the twentieth century, the work of the Great Patriotic War and the first post-war decades - until 1960.

The exhibition "70 of 700" features the best and most interesting works of original drawings from the collection of the Nizhny Tagil Museum of Fine Arts.
