Information technology and history: The electronic catalogue of archaeological items of the Middle Ages created in Khakassia
The L. R. Kyzlasov Khakass National Local Lore Museum (Abakan) has created an electronic catalog of archaeological objects from the Middle Ages (IX - XIV centuries). Its presentation was held on 12 March 2015.
This is the second electronic edition of the National Local Lore Museum: in February 2014 was submitted the directory "Khakass ethnography", which reflects the traditional material and spiritual culture of Khakassia.
The new catalog on archeology is made of 173 images of objects from the museum, among them - a collection of excavations by Professor Leonid Romanovich Kyzlasov, a collection of random discoveries and fees over the years. It also features those items that cannot always be seen in the museum display cases. Some of them are stored in museum collections and are rarely exhibited.
The catalog is divided into sections: weapons, jewelry belt, horse harness, harness ornaments, tools, ceramics. Items in each category are evidence of the high level of Khakassia in the Middle Ages in the IX - XIV centuries.
The electronic catalogue will be available in the end of March at the website of the Khakass National Local Lore Museum http://nhkm.ru/. It can be downloaded at the tablet, PC or smart phone.
