Internet and literature: Virtual project “Live pages” started in the Republic of Dagestan

As part of the Year of Literature in Russia the Rasul Gamzatov Khasavyurt Central City Library (the Republic of Dagestan) opened the access to its new virtual project “Live pages”. 

Libraries of Khasavyurt decided to present the rich spiritual heritage of national and foreign writers celebrating their jubilees in the format of short videos, where city bibliophiles and library specialists read fragments from the works included in the treasury of world culture. 

The project “Live pages” is broadcasted in different social web-networks. Information resources really come to life thanks to the numerous hyperlinks to various thematic media-resources: feature film and documentaries, video and audio materials, fine arts, digital copies of rare and valuable books from the collections of federal libraries.
