To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Art documentation. 1941-1945” in Tula

Until June 30, 2015 in the Tula Regional Art Museum is opened the exhibition “Art documentation. 1941-1945”.

The exhibition features 41 works of graphics from the collection of the A. A. Deineka Kursk Picture Gallery. The works are created by famous Soviet artists in 1941-1945. Many of them fought on the front or in front brigades traveled to the guerilla groups and liberated from the Nazis territores.

The pictures, embodies from nature, depict fragments of hostilities, moments of battles, harsh life of people at the front and in the rear. The exhibition consists graphics, dedicated to the Tula working regiment, as well as unique sketches if destroyed by Nazis cities – Kiev, Sevastopol, villages of the Oryol, Kursk, Bryansk regions.

This exhibition is organized within the framework of the inter-regional exchange between the A. A. Deineka Kursk Picture Gallery and the Tula regional Art Museum, which also sent to Kursk 41 graphic works as part of the exhibition “Artists of the war”.

During the work of the exhibition the Tula Regional Art Museum hosts thematic lectures, concerts, literary evenings, film screenings.
