To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Eyes of the Battle Flag” in Stavropol

The G. N. Prozritelev and G. K. Prave Stavropol State Historical-Cultural and Natural-Landscape Museum-Reserve hosted the solemn opening of the exhibition “Eyes of the Battle Flag”, dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Patriotic War 1941-1945. The exhibition is created with the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Stavropol region of the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (Moscow) within the framework of the Year of Historical Memory in Stavropol.

The centerpiece at the exhibition, telling of Stavropol residents, who fought on all fronts of one of the bloodiest wars in the history of humanity, took the battle flags of units and formations, liberated the region from the Nazi troops. These genuine historical relics are on display at the Central Museum of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The banner of Dovatorts from the collections of the Stavropol State Museum is also on display.

On the basis of the exhibition there will be held meetings with veterans of war, thematic lectures, military-historical quizzes and quests.
