International events: The exhibition “40 books about Finland” presented in Novosibirsk

The exhibition "40 books about Finland", collected by the Embassy of Finland in Moscow, runs until April 30, 2015 in the Novosibirsk Regional Scientific Library. The exhibition presents a picture of life in contemporary multilateral Finland. It includes a Russian translation of the Finnish scientific, documentary and fiction, books for children and adults. The exhibition presents classics in the face of Alexis Kivi and well-familiar old names Tove Jansson and Arto Paasilinna.

But, first of all, the exhibition features a wide range of history, society, art and nature of Finland. A part of the work, relating to society and innovation, is, in particular, a recognized education system in Finland. Most books are in Russian, however, some of the books in English and Finnish.

The collection of books, presented at the exhibition “40 books about Finland”, is donated to the library.
