
World history: The exhibition “Ideological struggle on the Soviet-German front during the Great Patriotic War” in Moscow
April 21, 2015 in the White Hall of the Library of Foreign Literature (Moscow) is opened the exhibition "The ideological struggle on the Soviet-German front during the Great Patriotic War", organized in conjunction with the Memorial Museum of German anti-fascists (the Moscow region) and timed to the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945.).
The war propaganda, constant companion of wars, is known since ancient times. In the XX century for the first time in the history the war propaganda has risen to the level of psychological attack, which became the Great Patriotic War, the most important factor of severe confrontation of the Soviet Union and Germany. Existing means of communication, communications and printing technology made it possible to conduct an all-out propaganda, fighting for the hearts and minds of people in the war and in the rear. On the Soviet-German front, where there was a struggle for life and death, questions of ideology and propaganda from the warring parties made the most acute forms and plays an important role. This is a special theater of operations, which involved many millions of people.
