History of Russia: The exhibition “War and Fate” in the Feodosia Museum of Antiquities

The Feodosia Museum of Antiquities to the 71st anniversary of the liberation of the Crimea and the city of Feodosia from the Nazi occupiers and Romanian has prepared new exhibition "War and Fate – A. G. Gorban (1923-1992): Materials of the museum".

The exhibition presents documents and photos of a Feodosia resident, a veteran of the Great Patriotic War, a member of the battle for the Crimea A. G. Gorban.

Materials of the exhibition tell the story of Alexander Grigorievich as a war veteran and a man who has done a lot for the development of post-war Feodosia. This new set of materials is transferred to the museum in permanent storage by the family of A. G. Gorban.

A. G. Gorban was on friendly terms with many Soviet cosmonauts, visited the Cosmonaut Training Center. The exposition includes materials related to the stay in Feodosia of space crews. One of the photographs includes an inscription - "Alexander Grigorevich Gorban with gratitude for their participation in training" and autographs space pilots Rukavishnikov, Makarov, Kubasov, on the other - "Frontline ally Alexander Grigorievich with respect Coast 27.07.1988". In 1980, Alexander G. Gorban was awarded a memorable sign “XX years Cosmonaut Training Centre of Yuri Gagarin”.
