Society and book culture: The XII Annual Regional Exhibition-Contest “Simbirsk book-2014” in Ulyanovsk

From April 15-23, 2015 in the Palace of a Book – the V. I. Lenin Ulyanovsk Regional Scientific Library is held the XII Annual regional Exhibition-Contest “Simbirsk book -2014” among book publishing, printing companies and authors of the Ulyanovsk region.

By tradition, “Simbirsk book” includes a large program of events, aimed at reviving interest to the great historical past of the region, the promotion of the best samples of the regional literature, the involvement to the active communicative and efficient reading of different segments of population, the raising of prestige of book and reading.

In 2015 as part of the annual regional exhibition-contest “Simbirsk book – 2014” will be held Days of Literature of the peoples of the Volga region. This project brings together creative intelligentsia of the peoples of the Volga region, presents the public the quality national literature, introduces readers with modern authors, using cultural and language diversity of the peoples of Russia.

During the XII Regional exhibition-contest in the Palace of book will be held open days in the memorial exposition “Karamzin Public Library”.
