
To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “There was spring- the spring of Victory” in Abakan
In the Khakassia Republican Children’s Library opened the exhibition-installation “There was spring – the spring of Victory” dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory 1941-1945.
The exhibition consists of three compositions: the Wall of Remembrance, Great Battle and Victory Wall. The Wall of Remembrance is presented with materials of the war in the form of photographs and books. The attention of young readers will surely be attracted to the second composition, telling of the main battles in photographs and facts: the Battle of Moscow and Stalingrad, the blockade of Leningrad, and the battle of Kursk, the crossing of the Dnieper and the capture of Berlin. Here you can see and learn about the exhibits of the wartime: helmet, cigarette case, flask, pot, tunic, a kerosene lamp.
And, of course, it is represented the Victory wall with excerpts from poems of I. Ivanov, O. Bergholz and S. Orlov. A particular interest among children will be border towns and anti-theft device, which is called “antitank-hedgehog”.
