Society and Culture: How to encourage national cultures is discussed in Yalta

On May 28, 2015, in Yalta Theatre named after A. P. Chekhov is being held a plenary session of All-Russian Conference of Regional and Municipal Authorities on “Support of National Cultures as an Assurance of Social Stability."

The issues of revival of traditional Russian culture and the development of national cultures of the peoples of Russia will become the themes for discussion. There will be the thematic sections within the conference on the involvement of the Ethnic Cultural Centers in preservation and promotion of national cultures of the peoples of Russia and caring community initiatives and actions aimed at preserving and strengthening interethnic harmony.

The event is held under the XXI Session of the Coordination Council for Culture at the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

Heads of state authorities of subjects of the Russian Federation in the field of culture, the members of the Coordinating Council for Culture at the Ministry of Culture of Russia, experts, heads of houses of folk art and other leading cultural institutions attend the conference.
