Russian language and society: Federal target program “Russian language” to 2020 will increase the possibilities of teachers to work with the latest methods

The implementation of the federal target program "Russian Language" in 2020 will more than double increase the number of teachers working on new methods of teaching Russian language with the use of modern digital technology, according to the website of the Government of Russia.

The program aims to promote comprehensive Russian language as the basis of the civil self-identity, cultural and educational unity of multinational Russia, effective international dialogue.

The head of the Government of Russia extended the federal target program for the period from 2016 to 2020. It is allocated more than 7.5 billion rubles. Dmitry Medvedev discussed the embodiment of program activities in the life of the president of the Russian Academy of Education, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Russkiy Mir Foundation Lyudmila Verbitskaya and Head of Rossotrudnichestvo Lyubov Glebova.

According to the Prime Minister, the federal program "Russian Language" should help the Russian schools abroad - to provide them with the necessary textbooks and manuals in Russian, as well as modern equipment.
