Information technology and libraries: The round the clock information center is opened in the Research Library of the Tomsk State University

The Research Library of the Tomsk State University inaugurated an information center around the clock (24/7). Readers of the library are provided the opportunity to work with the information at any time - during the day and at night.

The ceremony took place in the framework of the jubilee X Makushinskie readings and collected library science professionals, students, specialists and citizens of the Tomsk University.

Centre has modern computer infrastructure, equipped with comfortable furniture for work, communication and leisure, fund popular art and reference books. The space is divided into zones of joint and independent work, providing a dining area and a seating area. Private room allows for group meetings. For readers it is available a whole range of library services: consultation on the database, the use of electronic resources, registration of bibliographies and others.
