Museums and society: The Ministry of Culture holds the national action “Night of Museums”

"Night of Museums" - an annual event conducted on the night of Saturday to Sunday in the middle of May, when the museums are open to visitors in the evening and at night. They organize special programs, tours, activities in order to increase interest and attract a wider audience of young people in museums. In 2015, the event "Night of Museums" will be held on the night of 16 on May 17, 2015 by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

In the year of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory in the "Night of Museums" will be unprecedented scale - will be attended by 62 federal museum and a 2000 exhibition spaces, which will offer visitors a costume to go to time-travel, listen to lectures, to pass family workshops, quests and seminars. The action will take place in all regions of Russia, including the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol.
