
History and culture: The exhibition “Petroglyphs of Khakassia” in the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum in Moscow
May 16, 2015, during the action "Night of Museums" in the A. A. Bakhrushin Theater Museum was opened the exhibition "Petroglyphs of Khakassia", taking place within the framework of the XII Bakhrushin charity festival.
"Petroglyphs of Khakassia" - a collection of copies of the monuments of ancient rock art from the collection of L. R. Kyzlasov Khakass national museum. Especially for the collection of the A. A. Bakhrushin Theatre Museum researchers from Abakan brought more than 35 copies of the original rock art made by Siberian artists, archaeologist, collector of antiquities, and the author of the method of copying ancient drawings on mica paper Vladimir drop. These works - replicas of rock art, the history of which counts more than 4 thousand years (from the beginning of the Bronze Age to the Middle Ages), created in different cultural epochs of ancient Khakassia: Ocunev (to the III millennium BC. - the II thousand AD), Tagar (VIII-I centuries BC.) and the Middle Ages (VII-XVII centuries).
The objective of the exhibition is to acquaint visitors with the ancient land of Khakassia, where many thousands of different peoples have created their own unique art.
The exhibition "Petroglyphs of Khakassia" will be open until June 7, 2015.
