Publishing and Book Distribution: Russian Booth was first presented at the 12th International Book Fair in Thessaloniki

For the first time the Russian bookstand was introduced at the 12th International Book Fair in Thessaloniki, Greece, which was held on May 7-10, 2015.

"The Russian Newspaper" with the support of the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications became the organizers of the first in the history participation of Russia in the exhibition.

The Russian stand has presented illustrated editions about Russia, books on history and philosophy, Russian classics and the works of contemporary authors, along with specially released in Greek anthology of Russian literature of XX-XXI centuries.

During the meetings that were held within a framework of the exhibition, it was agreed that Russia will be the guest of honor at the exhibition in Thessaloniki next year, and Greece - the guest of honor at the Moscow International Book Fair, which happens annually at the former Exhibition of Economic Achievements (of the USSR) VDNKh.
