The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: Interactive book exhibition from a series “Opening the pages of children’s literature” in Moscow

8 May 2015

Until June 11, 2015 in the Russian State Children’s Library (Moscow) is held the second large-scale interactive book exhibition from a series “Opening the pages of children’s literature”. This time in the center of the exposition is the period of the Great Patriotic War – books, published in 1941-1945s, children’s books, dedicated to the events of that time.

Children’s books of wartime look unusual – they were published, despite the storage of paper, paint, labor and vitality. Nevertheless, throughout the war, they were published and found their readers.

For children and adults at the exhibition is designed a special zone "war stories" centered - letters from the front, old photos and a few painted scenes (documentary and fiction) in the life of people who passed the war.

Real life-time stories of veterans can also be listened: Internet-journal Who Are They Magazine will provide audio recordings and photographs of people who had direct relevance to the Great Patriotic War.
