Memory of Russia: The Military-Historical Festival “FortPost 2015” dedicated to the Day of Memory and Grief in Kronstadt
June 27, 2015 in the historical and architectural complex "Fort Constantine" (Kronstadt) is held the II Interactive Military History Festival "FortPost 2015" dedicated to the Day of Memory and Grief - the Day of the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The event is dedicated to the heroic defense of the city by Soviet troops of Libava in June 1941. The festival is attended by re-enactors from 10 different military-historical clubs of Russia.
Viewers will be able to take photos with the participants of reconstructions, see samples of weapons and military equipment of the World War II, soldiers visit the camp to fire a blank cartridge of any type of weapon, to meet with clubs reenactors and try soldier's porridge, cooked on the field kitchen. There will also be shooting a historical work.
In the barracks of Fort Constantine will be deployed a photo exhibition of Soviet and Russian journalist and writer Nikolai Cherkashin seascape "Brest-41. What is not captured". The photo exhibition is a series of unique images, the subject of united defense of the Brest Fortress in the early days of the war.
The final event of the military-historical festival "FortPost 2015" will be the reconstruction of the scene with military equipment.
