Society and culture: International conference “Russian literature in the world cultural context” in Saint-Petersburg

The International conference “Russian literature in the world cultural context” is held on June 25-26, 2015 in the Institute of Russian literature (the Pushkin House) of RAS in Saint-Petersburg. 

The conference welcomes specialists from Argentina, Brazil, Israel, Spain, Italy, China, Latvia, Mexico, Russia, the USA, Turkey, France, Switzerland, Japan and other countries.

The main guests of the conference will be French Slavic specialist George Niva, who is known for his many years of work on the translation and promotion of works of A. I. Solzhenitsyn, and an Italian scientist Vittorio Strada, who won several Russian and foreign awards.
