Internet and society: Conference “Internet and modern society” in Saint-Petersburg

The All-Russian United conference “Internet and Modern Society” is held in Saint-Petersburg in the library of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the ITMO University from June 23-25, 2015.

The conference “Internet and Modern Society” - IMS is held in Saint-Petersburg annually since 1998.

The conference is “united” as the scientific program of the conference unites a series of specialized scientific conferences, symposia, seminars, round tables and other events, dedicated to special issues of technology development of the information society.

An important task of the united conference is to shape Russia's community of leading research and development in Information Society Technologies. Conference contributes to the study of international experience and international cooperation in this field. The conference welcomes papers describing the advanced research and technology.

The main objectives of the scientific conference: the development of interdisciplinary research of information technology, electronic libraries, methods and technology of the integration of electronic collections; the interaction of information resources and the formation of e-document space of scientific research and innovation.

The event is attended by specialists from leading Russian and foreign scientific centers to exchange information and to establish contacts for the cooperation.
