Society and culture: The exhibition of works by masters of the XIX-XX centuries “Dear images of Russia” in Novosibirsk

June 23, 2015 in the Novosibirsk State Art Museum is opened the exhibition “Dear images of Russia”. The exhibition features works of masters of the XIX-XX centuries from the collection of the M. A. Vrubel Omsk Museum of Fine Arts.

Various in genres paintings created by Russian artists of different schools of art are related to the theme of Russia. Is it brightly revealed in the landscape, covering a significant geographical range.

The gallery of portraits includes images of great people of Russia – public figures, patrons and artists.

A significant part of the collection – works of masters of the XIX-XX centuries. Pages of national history illustrate paintings of the historical genre.

The exhibition will run until September 20.
