International events: The exhibition “Russia and Denmark. 1700-1900” in Tsarskoye Selo

The Museum-Preserve "Tsarskoye Selo, in the Zubov wing of the Catherine Palace hosted the opening of the exhibition "Russia and Denmark. 1700-1900".

This international exhibition project is timed to the 300th anniversary of the visit by Peter I of Denmark in 1716. The exhibition includes the imperial portraits of Russian and Danish works, memorabilia representatives of the Russian Imperial House and the Danish royal family. For the first time in Russia is exhibited a unique service of the Royal Copenhagen Porcelain Manufactory "Flora Danica", which was created in the 1790s, after the conclusion of peace, and "eternal Danish-Russian alliance" and was intended to present to Catherine II.

For visitors the exhibition runs from June 21 to September 20, 2015.
