Internet and society: Virtual exhibition “Inmost Valaam” is available on the Valaam Monastery website

The official website of the Valaam Monastery provides an online version of the photo exhibition "Inmost Valaam" - a look at Valaam from within, through the eyes of a monk of the monastery. The photographs were taken between 2007 and 2014.

Presented album is a series of sketches about the nature of Valaam and life of the monastery.The photos are grouped in accordance with the seasons: summer, fall, winter, spring. Browsing the photo exhibition, you can walk along the shady roads of Valaam and see a secret taking of monastic vows, touch the intimacy of the Divine Liturgy and see up close the shrines of the North Athos.
