Internet and society: International Technical Forum “Army 2015” presents online resources commemorating those killed when defending the Fatherland

From 16 to 19 June 2015, on the territory of military-patriotic recreation park of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Patriot" (Moscow reg.), the Ministry of Defense of Russia is holding the International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY 2015."

For the first time the Russian Defense Ministry is organizing such a significant exhibition event, which will showcase innovative ideas and achievements in the field of high-tech production.

The exhibition events of the Forum "Army 2015" include exposition, demonstration, and scientific and business programs.

The program of the International Military-Technical Forum "ARMY-2015" proposes the activities in the form of theoretical and practical conferences, seminars, plenary sessions, round tables and presentations of new technologies and models of weapons, military and special equipment. It is planned to discuss topical issues of development of armaments, military and special equipment, and the creation of scientific and technological potential in the innovation field.

The stand of the Administration of the Ministry of Defense of Russia commemorating those killed when defending the Fatherland features the following projects: Combined Databank Memorial, "Exploit of the people in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945" and "Memory of the people." This is an open access information resources that contain electronic images of original archival documents and data on losses, awarding the exploits of soldiers and officers, the results of the military operations of the First World and the Great Patriotic War.

With the help of the Russian Defense Ministry information resources everyone can create a family archive of documents and information about their loved ones who defended their homeland. As part of the stand there will be organized points of access to websites; skilled operators will help you find information about the participants of combat operations, and print out copies of archival documents.
