Memory of Russia: "Pushkin Day of Russia" in St. Petersburg

June 6, 2015 (May 26, Old Style) marks 216 years since the birth of Alexander Pushkin.

All-Russian Pushkin Museum (St. Petersburg) spends the day of celebrations.

A solemn ceremony of "Tribute to the Poet" will take places at the monument to Pushkin in the courtyard of the Museum and at the monument to Alexander Pushkin as a Lyceum student in the Lyceum Garden (Pushkin).

On this day in the museum visitors can see the following expositions:

— "My Dear Person" This exhibition presents the personal belongings of the soldiers — relatives of employees of the museum.

— "Artist and his Muse" in the framework of the XIX International Festival of Arts titled "Sergey Oskolkov and his Friends."
