History and culture: in the next three years the Ministry of Culture of Russia will prepare a large historical encyclopedia

In the next 3 years the Russian historical encyclopedia consisting of 20 volumes will be published. Minister of Culture of Russia, Chairman of the Russian Military-historical Society Vladimir Medinsky announced this during his speech at the Council of Federation.

The digital version of encyclopedia with complete reference will be issued in addition. Two volumes of encyclopedia of Russian history are already out and will be soon published on the Internet.
