Science and society: The Russian Geographical Society presented projects of the anniversary year

The most interesting projects of the Russian Geographical Society were presented on July 29, 2015 at the meeting of the media-club RGS in Moscow. This year is an anniversary for the community - celebrates 170 years since its foundation, and so many events are planned: photo contests, festivals and expeditions. Another project - a photo contest "The most beautiful country". It has already received 60 thousand jobs. The second festival of the Russian Geographical Society will be held in. With the help of digital technology, visitors can fly over an active volcano or go fishing with brown bears in Kamchatka.
