Museums: The Museum of History of the Russian Army to be open in Lefortovo

The Military and Historical Complex of the Armed Forces "Preobrazhensky" will appear in the metropolitan area Lefortovo. This was stated by Minister of Defence of the Russian federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu.

Created complex will serve as a revival of the best traditions of the Russian army and strengthen the authority of the Armed Forces.

According to the military department, the complex contains permanent display standard, high-quality government and military symbols that make up the Heraldic Register of the Armed Forces. It is Russia's only historic Znamenny hall where are presented banners and flags of the Russian army - from the time of Peter to the present day.
