The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: Multimedia performance “Born by word. Theatre of Russian literature” to be held in Peterhof

11-12 September 2015 the State Museum-Reserve "Peterhof" holds a traditional autumn holiday on the Grand Cascade Fountains of the Lower Park. This year's Festival of Fountains is included in the official program of the Year of Literature of Russia in the multimedia performance of "Born by word. Theatre of Russian literature".

The spectators on the background of the grandiose scenery - mapping on the facade of the Grand Peterhof Palace - brought scenes from classical opera, A. P. Borodin's "Prince Igor", created on the basis of the text of the legendary "Lay". In excerpts from the opera "Queen of Spades" and the ballet "The Fountain of Bakhchisarai" will revive the famous stories of A. S. Pushkin. Pictures from the ballet "Annie" on a story by Anton Chekhov will be changed mysteriously heroes of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. The revolutionary discoveries of Mayakovsky also reflected in the staging of the play. Triumphant finale will be staging the famous hymn "Hallelujah Love" from the opera by Alexei Rybnikov "Juno and Avos".
