To the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory: The exhibition “Remember…The world saved by a Soviet soldier” opened in Voronezh

In Voronezh, in the building of City Park "Grad" took place the opening of an exhibition of the Russian military-historical society "Remember… The world saved by a Soviet soldier", dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory.

The exhibition, authored by National Artist of Russia Vasily Nesterenko and Salavat Shcherbakov, tells about the crimes of Nazism and the liberation mission of the Red Army in Europe. The main objective of the project - the preservation of the historical truth about the role of Russia in the Great Patriotic war and saving the world from fascism.

The visitors are represented 9 thematic compositions, among them - "The coming to power of the Nazis", "Mass repressions. Concentration camp", "The crimes of fascism against humanity", "Mortal Combat and the price of victory". According to the author of the exposition Vasily Nesterenko, the concept of the exhibition is to present the three sides of the tragedy: the Nazi criminals, the victims of Nazi and Soviet soldier-liberator.

The premiere of the multimedia exhibition "Remember…The world saved by a Soviet soldier" was held in Moscow on February 9, 2015 and has become the first significant event of the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory. Then the exhibition was exhibited in Smolensk, Sochi and Volgograd. By August 2015 the exhibition was visited by more than 200 000 spectators.

In Voronezh the exhibition will run until September 28.
