Book publishing and book distribution: Russia presents new editions on Sinology at the Beijing International Book Fair

On the Russian stand of the 22nd Beijing International Book Fair, which takes place in China from 26 to 30 August, will be featured new books on Sinology, as well as books, which filled the Library of Chinese literature.

At the stand, traditionally made in the colors of the Russian national flag, will be placed new items of Russian publishing: new editions of Russian classics and works by contemporary Russian authors, books on humanities, works for children and young people, books on contemporary Russian Sinology.

A separate exposition will feature books, issued to the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.

The stand provides the author's site for meetings with writers and presentations. In particular, it will be held the presentation of the award Read Russia for the best translation from the Russian language with the participation of the laureate in 2014, a famous Chinese translator from Russian Liu Venfeya. There will also be held a round table on the theme: "Program of translation and publication of works of Russian and Chinese classical and modern literature - 2 years".

Intensive scientific and technical cooperation between Russia and China will find its reflection in the Russian program of the fair. There will be signed an agreement on cooperation between the Federal Agency for Railway Transport Training Center for Education in rail transport, and Beijing Jiaotong University, the result of which will be new high-quality books and manuals in Russian and Chinese for those who have decided to link their professional lives with an iron railroad.
