Memory of Russia: Monument to Dmitry Donskoy to be set in the Tula Kremlin

Monument to Prince Dmitry Donskoy will appear in Tula to mark the anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo. The opening ceremony will be dedicated to the Day of Russia's military glory. It will be held on September 21, the day the Russian troops led by Dmitry Donskoy defeated the Mongols in 1380. The new monument will be installed in the Tula Kremlin.

By that date is also planned to complete the restoration works in the Kremlin. The walls and towers are already installed. The bell tower of the Cathedral of the Assumption is raised. Statue of Dmitry Donskoy will decorate the area next to the Temple.
