Moscow city heritage reports that archaeologists during excavations in the Kadashevskaya Sloboda in Moscow found the treasure.

At a depth of about half a meter were discovered 1087 coins of the XVII century, the time of the reign of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich. Most of the copper coins are of hand-chasing. According to archaeologists, the coins are in need of restoration, but the quality of many of them is very good.

The coins were minted from 1654 to 1663 years to the Bronze rebellion, after which the copper coins were no longer produced.

In addition, the researchers found the remains of the industrial complex associated with the processing of non-ferrous metals and it is possible that this area was near the Mint. They also found a lot of household items - ceramics, tiles fragments, a fragment of copper icons, white stone grindstone and fragments of crucibles.
