Internet and society: A series of live broadcasts of lectures devoted to the peculiarities of the modern Russian language

In the CIS countries on the basis of Russian centers of science and culture, a series of live broadcasts of lectures devoted to the peculiarities of the modern Russian language with the information support of Rossotrudnichestvo is held.

The lectures are organized by MIA "Russia Today" together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. Among the lecturers are leading scientists, linguists and philologists, Russian and foreign experts, scholars and teachers of the Russian language.

Lectures are held at the site of the press center of MIA "Russia Today" in Moscow with parallel missions in Yerevan, Chisinau and Astana.

August 12 was held a lecture "Speech aggression and its overcoming. Euphemisms and dysphemism in the modern Russian language. Speech strategy of modern Russian communication. A compliment and insult: types and techniques. Technology persuasion".

September 16 will be held a lecture "The Russian language and new technology: the body and corpus linguistics".

October 14 - Lecture "Teaching Russian bilinguals".

October 27 - Lecture "Features of modern phraseology".

Series of lectures is focused on the needs of media journalists in Russia and the CIS, working with foreign audiences in Russian, as well as students and faculty studying and teaching the Russian language in schools.

Residents of Armenia, Kazakhstan and Moldova will be able to attend lectures on the basis of grounds MIA "Russia Today" in these countries, people from other countries will be able to listen to lectures via online broadcast at the website of the International Multimedia Press Center.
