The Year of Literature in Russia-2015: The cultural and educational project “Library of the Orthodox Literature” started in Mordovia

As part of the Year of Literature in Mordovia started a nationwide cultural and educational project "Library of Orthodox Literature". The project - the creation of a network at the temples spiritual and educational centers that combine reading room and cinema clubs.

The first such center was opened in the Mordovian village of Atyashevo near the new church of St. Andrew.

The library at the church will include not only the spiritual literature. A significant portion of the book fund is Russian classics that reflect the core values of Orthodoxy and spiritual quests of writers in line with Orthodox tradition. Films on spiritual themes are widely represented: you can see them on the big screen or take for rent.

The "Library of Orthodox Literature" was launched by a social movement for the revival of spiritual traditions "Orthodox Russia". The movement was founded in July 2014.
