Society and Church: "Summer of God. Valaam’s Light" exhibition in St. Petersburg

The "Summer of God. Valaam’s Light" exhibition, timed to the 25th anniversary of the revival of monastic life on Valaam, opened on August 5, 2015, in the Smolny Exhibition Hall of the Leningrad Region (St. Petersburg).

The exhibition introduces the history, traditions and modern life of the Valaam Monastery.

The exhibition "Summer of God. Valaam’s Light" gives a chance to bring together the efforts of the Russian Orthodox Church, the secular authorities and the public in the development of spiritual values of culture, art and morality.

The exhibition will last until August 25.
