Memory of Russia: The country's largest military "Battlefield" festival in Volokolamsk

Largest military festival in Russia entitled "Battlefield" will be held on August 8-9, 2015, in Volokolamsk near Moscow.

"The biggest in Russia military festival will be held in early August 2015 in the Volokolamsk district of Moscow Region. Its title the "Battlefield" is not accidental. Festival guests will really witness and, if desired, participate into authentically reconstructed military battles of the Great Patriotic War,"- were said at the press service of the festival.

According to organizers, more than 1,500 people, representing more than 100 military clubs, and about 50 units of heavy armored vehicles, will attend the festival. In the agenda of the event are the reconstructions of the battles of the Great Patriotic War, a mini-reconstructions of the actions of the allied forces on the second front, the exhibition of military equipment and so on.
