Russian language abroad: The International program “Ambassadors of the Russian language in the world”

In the autumn 2015 under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia and the Pushkin State Institute of Russian Language will be launched an International student volunteer program to promote the Russian language, literature and culture in Russia and abroad "Ambassadors of the Russian language in the world".

Participants of the program can be philology students, educators, writers, historians, journalists, and students of other humanitarian and creative specialties. The tasks of the volunteers will include introduction of foreign children and adolescents with the culture and traditions of Russia.

The first educational expedition will travel to Armenia this autumn.

To apply to participate in the volunteer program is open to all comers. It is necessary until 7 August to fill in the questionnaire on a specially created page and write a fragment of favorite poems on video by posting it on their pages on social networks with hashtag #stihomarafon.

All the candidates in the "Ambassadors of the Russian language" will be selected and trained under specially developed program within the All-Russian Student Forum on September 3-6 in Rostov-on-Don.
