Libraries of Russia: Rare editions are donated to the Trans-Baikal Regional Scientific Library

July 31, 2015 in the Trans-Baikal Regional Center of the Presidential Library were handed the rarity of literature, brought from Australia as a gift to the region from the Australian Trans-Baikal Cossacks.

A spokeswoman for the Trans-Baikal Cossacks in Australia Sophia Boikova had deposited rare magazines of the early XX century, which were previously published by the Cossacks in exile in the Chinese city of Harbin. This action is the foundation for the development of future relations with the Cossacks living in Australia and storing Russian tradition, and will also help in the formation of a rare library fund.
