The museum has a room dedicated to Metropolitan Yuriebsky and Volokolamsky Pitirim, who decided to re-create the library. His work was continued by Archimandrite Sergius. The main exposition presents various editions of the Bible in several dozens of languages of Russia and the nations of the world. Some instances are created before the appearance of print - the books copied by hand. The museum fund is enriched from a variety of sources: books are brought by visitors and parishioners as gifts, rare instances are given by publishing houses.

The exhibition features more than 500 exhibits and another part is in the vault, which is constantly enriched. One of the most valuable specimens in the collection is the Bible, printed by Russian pioneer Ivan Fedorov in 1581. In the museum you can see the Gospel of the Moscow printing house in 1633 - the first printed Bible in Moscow.
