Russian language and society: The modern dictionary on Russian language for preschoolers created

The Ministry of Education and Science will hold examination of existing grammars and dictionaries of the Russian language to preschool children, mostly created in the Soviet era, as well as a modern form vocabulary, grammar and workbook with illustrations and exercises.

"Despite the substantial upgrade of Russian speech in the last 20 years, along with the political, economic and social changes, changes in speech genres, a massive invasion of foreign words, grammars and dictionaries of the Russian language to preschool children in view of these changes has not been established", - said on the ministry's website.

The website also says that in Russia today there is a decrease the level of knowledge of Russian as a state language among the younger generation. In particular it is associated with distorted rules of the Russian language, which are laid at an early stage of development of the child.

The goal set by the office in order, - the creation of modern vocabulary, grammar and workbook on the Russian language to preschool children, which could be recommended to kindergartens and parents in family education.
