International events: The exhibition within the framework of the program of the International festival “Japanese Autumn” in Kolomenskoye

September 23, 2015 in the Small exhibition hall of the Palace of tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye (Moscow) starts working the exhibition “Falconry – shogun and samurai”, organized by the Regional Public Organization “Art Union of Artists of Japanese painting Sumi-e” together with the Moscow State United Museum-Reserve. The exhibition features works made in the technique of monochrome ink painting on rice paper (or “sumi-e” in Japanese). The exhibition includes works made in the animalistic and landscape genres.

The exhibition is deployed in the small exhibition hall of the Palace of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich in Kolomenskoye in the framework activities of the annual international festival “Japanese Autumn”. The festival is held in Moscow and St. Petersburg under the auspices of the Embassy of Japan in Russia, the Japan Foundation and the Japan Center of the Moscow State University.

The exhibition “Falconry – fun of shogun and samurai” in Kolomenskoye will continue its work until November 25, 2015.
