The first edition of "Vasily Terkin" was released with illustrations by Vereysky.
Each of the artists developed his own unique style of work. Works by George Vereysky performed in a low-key gourmet manner. Graphics by Orest Vereysky on the contrary differed with swiftness and ease of drawing, making it an excellent book and magazine illustrator. Thematically, the exhibition is divided into two parts: the works of George and Orest Vereysky created in peacetime, and the work of Orestes Vereysky, executed during the Great Patriotic War.
The exhibition "War and Peace in the works of George and Orest Vereysky" will introduce visitors to the rich creative heritage of the artist, in which the Great Patriotic War was one of the main reasons.
