Memory of Russia: International Military and Historical Festival “Borodino Day – 2015” in the Moscow region

September 5-6, 2015 in the Borodino field with the support of the Russian Military-Historical society will be held the International Military Historical Festival "Borodino Day - 2015". The diverse festival program will allow viewers living a dip in the era of the Great Patriotic War 1812.

Russia's largest military-historical festival, dedicated to the Patriotic War of 1812, will gather together the best representatives of the movement of military and historical reconstruction of the Napoleonic era from Russia and other countries. About a thousand people in uniform two centuries ago will recreate the colorful canvas of the famous battle.

Interactive sites of the festival will turn into a kind of "time machine". Visiting them will be available to know the everyday life of the imperial Russian army camps and Napoleonic armies.

September 6 will be held the solemn ceremonies of memory of soldiers killed in the Battle of Borodino. At the command post of Napoleon will be remembered the soldiers of the Grand Army of the Emperor of the French. And the main monument of the Borodino field will render homage to the soldiers of the Imperial Russian Army.

The culmination of the festival will be the military-historical reconstruction of the scene of the Battle of Borodino - battle for the battery of Rajewski.
