Internet and history: The Russian Historical Society publishes at its website the documents on the history of war between the USSR and Japan
To the 70th anniversary of the end of the World War II the Russian Historical Society published in digital form the provided by the Foreign Policy Archives of the Russian Federation documents on the history of the war the Soviet Union and Japan; some of them were not previously known to a wide range of researchers.
Among the published materials - text of the Agreement of the Crimean Conference on the Far East, recording conversations of People's Commissar for Foreign Affairs Molotov with US Ambassador to the USSR A. Harriman and British Ambassador to the USSR A. Kerr; text of the statement of the Soviet government to join the war against Japan; pictures of staff of the Soviet Embassy in Japan, as well as historical images of the signing of the Japanese Instrument of Surrender party aboard the US battleship "Missouri".
